During the comprehensive deliberations, several key issues concerning the growth and performance of cooperatives in the state were discussed in depth.
The Minister reviewed the progress of the membership drive in newly registered Large Area Multipurpose Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (LAMPS). The conference also deliberated on facilitating the onboarding of cooperative societies onto the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal. The Minister underlined that GeM integration would provide cooperatives with direct access to government procurement and help them market their products more effectively and transparently.
Emphasis was also laid on strengthening institutional mechanisms to make the cooperative movement more efficient, transparent, and inclusive.
Minister Tasing said that a robust cooperative ecosystem rests on responsive institutions, sound governance, and seamless service delivery.
“Through sustained collaboration and a shared sense of purpose, we remain committed to empowering our cooperative societies, expanding economic opportunities, and advancing the vision of Sahkar Se Samriddhi for every corner of Arunachal Pradesh,” he stated
