1. Purpose of the Platform
1. CoopWiki operates as an independent public information and community-contribution platform relating to cooperative societies in India. Users are expected to contribute responsibly, lawfully, and in good faith while using the platform.
2. The submitter shall be solely responsible and liable for the accuracy, completeness, authenticity, and currency of all information submitted to CoopWiki. Any review, moderation, or verification conducted by CoopWiki shall not transfer or diminish such responsibility. The submitter remains exclusively liable for any inaccurate, false, misleading, incomplete, or outdated information, and CoopWiki shall bear no liability arising therefrom.
2. Content and Conduct Standards
1. Users shall not:
1. create or promote fake societies,
2. impersonate cooperative societies, government authorities, representatives, moderators, or other persons,
3. publish misleading financial claims or deceptive operational information,
4. engage in scams, fraudulent conduct, or unlawful activities,
5. upload abusive, hateful, threatening, or defamatory content,
6. publish misinformation or intentionally false information,
7. make malicious or misleading edits,
8. distribute spam, unsolicited promotional material, or deceptive communications,
9. upload copyrighted materials, logos, images, or documents without lawful authorization,
10. interfere with moderation systems or misuse platform features.
1. Any attempt to manipulate public information, mislead users, damage reputations, or abuse the platform may result in immediate moderation action.
3. Moderation and Enforcement
1. All submissions, edits, uploads, and activities on CoopWiki may be reviewed by moderators or administrators. CoopWiki reserves the right to remove content, reverse edits, restrict access, suspend accounts, revoke verification status, or permanently ban users for violations of platform policies.
2. CoopWiki's moderation or verification of content does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of its accuracy, completeness, authenticity, or legality. CoopWiki shall not be liable for any inaccuracies, errors, omissions, or misrepresentations that may not be identified during such processes. Full responsibility and liability for the content shall remain exclusively with the contributor responsible for providing or publishing such content on the platform.
3. Repeat violations, fraudulent activity, impersonation, misinformation, abusive conduct, or copyright violations may result in permanent suspension or removal from the platform.
4. Moderation decisions made by CoopWiki are discretionary and final, subject to internal review where applicable.
4. Disclaimer
1. CoopWiki functions as a moderated community-contribution platform. Content available on the platform may originate from users, societies, public records, or third-party sources and may contain inaccuracies or outdated information despite moderation efforts.
2. Notwithstanding any moderation, review, or verification processes undertaken by CoopWiki, the platform does not warrant, certify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, completeness, reliability, legality, or fitness for any purpose of user-contributed content and shall bear no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any errors, omissions, inaccuracies, misrepresentations, or unlawful content contained therein.
