1. Introduction
1. CoopWiki operates as an independent public information and community-contribution platform that may display society information, publicly available financial data, board member details, operational records, user contributions, and community-submitted content relating to cooperative societies in India.
2. As information on the platform may originate from public records, society submissions, user contributions, moderators, or third-party sources, inaccuracies, outdated information, disputes, or complaints may occasionally arise. This Policy establishes the procedures relating to correction requests, content disputes, impersonation complaints, defamation claims, and legal notices submitted to CoopWiki.
2. Correction Requests
1. Any individual, cooperative society, representative, or affected party may request correction, clarification, review, or updating of information published on CoopWiki.
2. Correction requests may relate to:
1. Incorrect information,
2. Outdated records,
3. Inaccurate financial data,
4. Board member details,
5. Registration information,
6. Operational information,
7. Uploaded documents,
8. Publicly displayed contact details,
9. Historical inaccuracies.
1. CoopWiki may require supporting documents, public records, verification materials, or additional clarification before reviewing or processing correction requests.
2. Submission of a correction request does not guarantee modification, removal, or publication of revised information.
3. Financial Information Disputes
1. Where disputes arise relating to financial information displayed on the platform, CoopWiki may review publicly available records, supporting documents, society submissions, historical revisions, or clarification materials provided by affected parties.
2. Financial information displayed on CoopWiki may originate from public records, user contributions, society submissions, or third-party sources and may not be independently audited or verified.
3. CoopWiki reserves editorial discretion regarding the publication, modification, archival preservation, restriction, or removal of disputed financial information.
4. Board Member and Society Information Disputes
1. Individuals or societies may request review or correction of:
1. Board member information,
2. Representative details,
3. Office bearer records,
4. Management information,
5. Society operational details,
6. Contact information,
7. Publicly displayed society records.
1. CoopWiki may request identity verification, official documents, public records, authorization letters, or additional evidence before taking action on such requests.
2. The platform reserves the right to preserve historical revisions, archived records, moderation logs, or prior versions of disputed information for transparency, legal compliance, operational integrity, or dispute-resolution purposes.
5. Defamation Complaints
1. Any person alleging that content published on CoopWiki is defamatory, misleading, false, or reputationally harmful may submit a complaint through the designated grievance or reporting mechanisms.

3. Complaints should reasonably identify:

5. Contact information of the complainant.
1. CoopWiki may review such complaints internally and may remove, restrict, archive, modify, annotate, or preserve disputed content pending review.
2. Submission of a complaint does not automatically require removal of content.
6. Impersonation Complaints
1. Any person, society, representative, or organization may report profiles, pages, uploads, edits, or content alleged to involve impersonation, unauthorized representation, or fraudulent identity claims.
2. Where CoopWiki reasonably believes impersonation, deception, or unauthorized representation may exist, the platform may:
1. Restrict visibility,
2. Suspend accounts,
3. Revoke verification status,
4. Disable claimed access,
5. Remove content,
6. Request additional verification,
7. Preserve evidence and moderation records.
1. CoopWiki reserves full discretion regarding the investigation and resolution of impersonation complaints.
7. Legal Notices and Government Requests
1. CoopWiki may receive legal notices, court directions, regulatory communications, takedown requests, or governmental requests relating to content available on the platform.
2. The platform reserves the right to review, investigate, preserve, restrict, archive, disclose, or remove content where reasonably necessary for:
1. Legal compliance,
2. Dispute handling,
3. Enforcement of rights,
4. Fraud prevention,
5. Platform integrity,
6. Cooperation with lawful authorities.
1. CoopWiki may request supporting documentation, identity verification, or legal authorization before responding to legal notices or requests.
8. Review Process and Timelines
1. All correction requests, disputes, complaints, and legal notices may undergo moderation review, verification procedures, editorial assessment, and operational evaluation.
2. Response times may vary depending on:
1. Complexity of the dispute,
2. Availability of supporting information,
3. Verification requirements,
4. Moderation workload,
5. Legal considerations,
6. Operational requirements.
1. CoopWiki does not guarantee fixed timelines for investigation, correction, removal, or dispute resolution.
9. Editorial and Moderation Discretion
1. CoopWiki reserves unrestricted editorial and moderation rights regarding:
1. Acceptance or rejection of correction requests,
2. Publication of clarifications,
3. Modification of content,
4. Archival preservation,
5. Restriction of disputed material,
6. Removal decisions,
7. Annotation of disputed records,
8. Preservation of revision histories.
1. Moderation and editorial decisions made by CoopWiki are discretionary and final subject to internal review where applicable.
10. Disclaimer
1. CoopWiki operates as a moderated public information and community-contribution platform. Information displayed on the platform may originate from public records, society submissions, user contributions, or third-party sources and may contain inaccuracies or outdated information despite moderation efforts.
2. CoopWiki does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, authenticity, or reliability of any content published on the platform and shall not be responsible for reliance placed upon disputed or user-contributed information.
11. Governing Law
1. This Data Correction & Dispute Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this Policy or the use of CoopWiki shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts located in the State of Kerala.
