COOPWIKI Historical Revision & Archive Policy Version 1.0 · Effective 28 August 2026 1. Introduction 1. CoopWiki operates as a moderated public information and community-contribution platform relating to cooperative societies in India. To maintain transparency, moderation integrity, dispute handling capabilities, and operational continuity, CoopWiki may preserve historical revisions, archived records, moderation logs, timestamps, and prior versions of content available on the platform. 2. This Policy explains how archived content and revision histories may be retained, managed, preserved, or restricted by CoopWiki. 2. Revision History and Archive Retention 1. CoopWiki may maintain revision histories relating to edits, updates, submissions, corrections, moderation actions, verification changes, dispute resolutions, and content removals made on the platform. Historical records may include timestamps, approval histories, archived versions, moderation logs, restoration records, and user contribution histories. 2. Historical revisions and archived records may continue to exist even after content is corrected, modified, restricted, removed, or updated. 3. Purpose of Archival Preservation 1. Archived records and historical revisions may be preserved for purposes including moderation integrity, fraud prevention, transparency, dispute handling, operational continuity, legal compliance, audit tracking, security monitoring, and internal review processes. 2. Archived content may remain preserved internally even where such content is no longer publicly visible or accessible on the platform. 4. Corrections and Content Removal 1. Correction, modification, annotation, restriction, or removal of content does not automatically require permanent deletion of historical revisions or archived records. CoopWiki reserves the right to preserve prior versions of disputed, corrected, removed, or restricted content where reasonably necessary for moderation review, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, archival integrity, or operational protection. 2. Users acknowledge that historical revisions, moderation logs, or archived records may continue to exist despite subsequent edits, account deletion requests, content removals, or verification revocations. 5. Moderation and Editorial Discretion 1. CoopWiki reserves unrestricted editorial and moderation discretion regarding the preservation, restoration, archival retention, annotation, visibility, modification, restriction, or removal of historical revisions and archived records. 2. The platform may retain archived information, moderation histories, audit logs, timestamps, or revision records for such duration as CoopWiki considers reasonably necessary for operational, legal, moderation, security, or administrative purposes. 6. No Guarantee of Availability 1. CoopWiki does not guarantee continuous public availability, accessibility, restoration, or preservation of all archived records, historical revisions, or prior versions of content. Archived materials may be reorganized, restricted, modified, removed, or preserved at the discretion of CoopWiki. 7. Disclaimer 1. Historical revisions, archived records, moderation logs, and prior versions of content may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, disputed material, incomplete records, or user-contributed information that has not been independently verified. 2. Preservation of archived content does not constitute legal authentication, certification, audit validation, verification of accuracy, government approval, or endorsement by CoopWiki.
