Public Information Usage Policy

1. Introduction
1. CoopWiki operates as an independent public information and community-contribution platform relating to cooperative societies in India. The platform may collect, organize, display, archive, summarize, moderate, and publish publicly available information obtained from lawful and publicly accessible sources, user contributions, society submissions, publicly accessible records, or third-party informational materials.
2. This Policy explains how publicly available information may be used, processed, displayed, and managed on the platform.
2. Use of Publicly Available Information
1. CoopWiki may use, display, organize, reproduce, summarize, archive, index, or publish publicly available information relating to cooperative societies, including registration details, office addresses, board member information, operational records, publicly accessible financial information, publicly available notices, and historical records.
2. The platform may also create structured informational pages, searchable listings, revision histories, summaries, metadata, and informational compilations using publicly available information.
3. Raw factual information and publicly accessible records may not be subject to exclusive ownership claims.

4. User Contributions and Public Submissions

5. Corrections and Disputes
1. Individuals, societies, representatives, or affected parties may submit correction requests, disputes, clarification requests, or complaints relating to publicly available information displayed on the platform.
2. CoopWiki may review such requests internally and may request supporting records, public documents, identity verification, or additional clarification before taking action.
3. Submission of a correction request does not automatically require removal or modification of content.
6. No Ownership Claim Over Third-Party Records
1. CoopWiki does not claim ownership over official government records, publicly available filings, third-party materials, society names, trademarks, logos, or publicly accessible documents belonging to respective owners.
2. All trademarks, logos, society names, and third-party identifiers remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Limitation of Liability
1. CoopWiki does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, reliability, authenticity, or timeliness of publicly available information displayed on the platform.
2. The platform shall not be responsible for inaccuracies, outdated records, user contributions, third-party content, moderation outcomes, or reliance placed upon information available on the platform.
3. All information is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind.
8. Editorial and Moderation Rights
1. CoopWiki reserves unrestricted rights to review, moderate, annotate, archive, restrict, preserve, modify, remove, summarize, or reorganize publicly available information displayed on the platform without prior notice where considered necessary for moderation, operational integrity, dispute handling, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or platform administration.
9. Governing Law
1. This Public Information Usage Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with the use or publication of publicly available information on CoopWiki shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Ernakulam district, Kerala.
